When Pigs Fly (Kites?)

Technically, I don’t think this counts.  When we say, “When pigs fly” we’re implying that the pig flies (gets airborne under its own power). In this case, the kite is flying – not the pig.

Before last November we could have said, “Russia will elect the United States next President – when pigs fly.”  Well… it looks to me like there’s a pig flying in Air Force One!
